The Islamic Research Foundation (IRF) is a registered public charitable trust (No. B-1409, Bom) in Mumbai, India. It was established in Feb. 1991. It promotes Islamic ‘da’wah’ - the proper presentation, understanding and clarification of Islam, as well as removing misconceptions about Islam - amongst less aware Muslims and non-Muslims.
The IRF has the largest collection in the world of more than 400 software packages on Islam and comparative religion on CD-ROMs and diskettes, available for the public (with facilities for using them).
